Nonprofit Breakfast

PRSA St. Louis is hosting a breakfast focused on new, practical techniques and tools to help communications professionals working in nonprofit organizations, as well as the agencies that provide services to these associations, overcome these challenges.

Member Spotlight

This month's member spotlight is on Andrew Friend. Andrew is new to the St. Louis area and to PRSA after only just graduating from UW-Stevens Point this past December with a B.A. in Communication with a Public Relations emphasis, but he is already making an impact on our local chapter through his attendance of every event since his arrival in the city.

Andrew's favorite part of going into the public relations field is learning how to utilize stories to help a brand establish their identity. He says, "I think the reason public relations has such a strong pull for me is because the marketing side of the job is so personal."

He hopes his time with PRSA St. Louis will allow him to connect with other PR pros and develop his professional skills while finding a way to give back to the PR community.

Andrew has recently accepted the position of Email Marketing Coordinator with Enterprise Medical Recruiting.
